Happy Pride Month! This month we are so excited to celebrate the LGBTQIA+ community. We especially want to celebrate our amazing team members who are a part of the community. Here at Atlas Beauty we strive to be an inclusive and safe space for everyone. This is why we offer genderless haircuts. We do not label our haircuts as men’s and women’s cuts, they are simply booked based on the length of your hair. No matter the identity of the person under the hair we want to make you feel beautiful and truly yourself through your hair. Make sure to stay tuned for the results from our pride shoot! Results from that photoshoot will be being posted across all our social media platforms. Make sure you are following us not only on Instagram but Facebook, Pinterest, and Tik Tok!

April Announcement!

Hello Atlas Beauties, 

This month's blog is going to look a little different! We have a huge announcement. Our secret is out, Atlas Beauty is transferring owners. Jenna Howard (formerly Wilson) had a beautiful baby boy this past November. After his birth Jenna took some time to be a mom, and to be with her family. After taking this time she has decided to step away from Atlas Beauty and transfer ownership to our one and only Heather Halstead. Jenna opened Atlas Beauty’s doors over five years ago, she has built an empire that thrives off of collaboration, creative freedom, respect, and kindness amongst the team. We here at Atlas Beauty will miss Jenna but are so excited for her next chapters in life. We wish nothing but the best for her and her family. Heather Halstead has been a stylist here at Atlas Beauty for five years, we are so excited she is the one to be taking over! We want to ensure everyone that Atlas Beauty will be staying the same. We will be having a Grand Re-Opening on April 29th to celebrate Atlas Beauty’s new chapter. We would love for all our clients, friends and family etc to attend. Below is a quote from Heather, we hope you stay tuned with us for this new chapter. 

Heather Halstead - “I met Jenna just as I was recovering from a rare soft tissue cancer. It had been a hard recovery with trips to Duke Hospital in Durham, NC. I was nervous about the interview and I would be starting my clientele from scratch yet again. The frequent trips to the hospital had not only been physically and emotionally difficult, but had taken a toll on my income.

Jenna took me under her wing and groomed me. She mentored me in a way that I had not had before. She was so easy to work with and gentle spirited that it was the breath of fresh air that I needed to heal. She exemplifies the type of woman that I aspire to as well as being the most inspirational boss. She not only started a woman based business and paid her employees a generous pay, but she is passing on her legacy.

I am delighted that she can start the next chapter of her life. I am honored and grateful that she has chosen me to continue her legacy that she has so lovingly built. May she flourish and be successful in all that she puts her hands to.  Many blessings to her and her new family.”

We are making one update to our online booking system. When you are booking for any of our color or lightening services and want to add a haircut you will now have to select both services separately. You will notice online we do not have them as combo appointments anymore. This is to make our booking system work more efficiently. If you have any questions with booking please feel free to call, text or email us and we can assist you to ensure you are booking the correct appointment.

As we move further into the year we have more exciting things ahead of us. This month we will be offering 20% off all apparel and accessories within the salon. We hope everyone is having a lovely 2023 so far! We have some exciting announcements this month. We will be offering a Valentine's Day special From 2/1-2/14! Whether you will be celebrating with your special someone, having a single’s night out with your squad or like to ignore the holiday all together, treat yourself and most importantly treat your hair. Come in for a conditioning treatment that includes a blowout and style, for only $70 this valentine's day. Typically this would be upwards of a $100 service! Make sure you are following us on Instagram, Facebook and Pinterest as we have some exciting photoshoots happening in the month of February and will be posting the results on all platforms. We will also be at some beauty boost events this year. Mark your calendars for the Galentines Glam event on 2/16 starting at 6pm. Attention: Change in Gratuity Protocol

Fall is here everyone! We have some changes going on here at the salon. As of 10/22/2022 we will no longer be accepting tips on credit cards. Your stylists would appreciate your gradtuidy either in cash, check or venmo which they will receive instantly. We thank all our awesome clients for your cooperation.

This month at Atlas it is our goal as always to keep your hair game on point in and out of the salon. That's why we are getting back to the basics. We want to help you find your perfect match, that is your perfect match for shampoo and conditioner. Our stylists have the perfect duo recommendations that they’ll cater to you. So from now until the end of the month when you invest in the full size shampoo and conditioner duo that your stylist recommends to you, we will get a free mini product. In order to achieve your hair goals outside of the salon your hair care routine matters! In order to have the best routine, you must have your ride or die as your foundation. Make sure to ask your stylist during your next appointment what they recommend for your duo dream team.

Hello Atlas Beauties!

Happy holidays from everyone here at Atlas. We hope your Thanksgiving was full of food and fun, and we wish you the same in all holiday endeavors this December.

November was a wonderful and hectic month for the salon. We had an extremely successful grand opening celebration alongside Natalie Ray for her art exhibition, “Strength in Figures”. Natalie’s beautiful art is installed in the salon, feel free to take a gander any time you’re with us! Our grand opening couldn’t have happened without the outpouring of support from our clients. We’re so grateful to all of you, every single day. 

Additionally, we’d love to introduce our Atlas Beauties to our new team member, Lesley! Lesley has been a colorist and hairstylist for years, and we’re so excited to help her take the next step in her career. Book with Lesley online any time or give us a call!
