Heather has been behind the chair since 2012 and still treats every appointment like a collaboration instead of a transaction. Hair, to her, isn’t just about maintenance — it’s identity, confidence, and sometimes therapy with better lighting.
She specializes in extension transformations and dimensional color. Heather is certified in the Invisible Bead Method (IBE) hand-tied extensions and also offers K-tip extensions, choosing methods based on what’s healthiest and most realistic for each person’s lifestyle. Alongside extensions, she’s known for lived-in color and custom color work — the kind that grows out softly and makes mornings easier instead of harder. Her approach is technical, intentional, and focused on longevity, not quick fixes.
In 2023, Heather took ownership of Atlas Beauty with a clear goal: create the kind of salon she always wished existed. A space where clients don’t have to mask, perform, or feel judged — whether they’re LGBTQ+, neurodivergent, anxious, quiet, talkative, or just exhausted from the outside world. The experience matters just as much as the result.
As a leader, she prioritizes education, respect, and sustainability in both technique and culture. The team environment is built to be supportive instead of competitive, so the energy you feel as a guest is genuine — not forced hospitality.
