Hi Atlas Beauties!

First and foremost, we couldn’t be more excited to be moved to our brand-new salon location at 257 Broadway St, Suite 301 in North Asheville. Everyone on the Atlas team is over the moon about every corner of our space. Bigger, brighter, and all the better to provide our clients the highest degree of service. Feel free to stop in any time be it to check out the space, make an appointment, or just say hi!

Secondly, thank you to all our incredible clients from the bottom of our hearts for sticking with us through our move. To everyone who gifted us flowers, food, and fun during our opening week, we appreciate you more than you can know. It’s made this hectic and stressful move worth it tenfold. 

Finally, we’re so excited to let everyone we have a new stylist at Atlas Beauty!

Kat has been a hair stylist and makeup artist for just over 10 years now, and we’re so happy she’s taking the next step of her journey as a cosmetologist with us. Book online with Kat any time, or feel free to call the salon to make an appointment. 

Autumn is ringing in our new journeys with stellar timing. Just as our salon life is settling at our new space, the leaves are turning, and the air is cooling. Atlas Beauty is Moving!

Hey there Atlas Beauties!

We’re absolutely thrilled to officially announce the move to our new salon location. We’ll be closed from Saturday, 9/4, to Monday, 9/13. Our first day open at our new salon is on Tuesday, 9/14. All of us at Atlas Beauty have been working hard to bring our absolute best with this new endeavor, from painting to flooring to furniture. We have no doubt in our minds that everyone is going to adore this new space! 

We will be sending a reminder to all our beauties, accompanied by our new address, parking details, entrance, salon layout, etc. during the week we are closed for setup. 

Right alongside our move, Atlas Beauty will be launching the website for Extensions by Atlas Beauty, our own brand of hand tied extensions, this Friday, 9/3. Our salon owner, Jenna, had a vision to create a chic, beautiful brand of hand-tied extensions for professionals everywhere, and we made it happen! Each weft is hand rolled and packaged with love, every time. 

Thank you sincerely to all our wonderful clients for their excitement, support, and love in the hectic months spent formulating a smooth transition. We can’t wait for the fruits of this project to give back to you tenfold.

Hey Atlas Beauties!

Midsummer is heating up in Asheville, and we’re prepping heavy for hair treatment galore as our clients are subjected to unavoidable heat and humidity. We have a few must-have tips from our professionals at Atlas to get you ready for your fight against the woes of messy summer hair:

• If you’re a frequent of your local or at-home chlorine pool, make sure you’re protected before you hop in the water! Blonde hair especially is often subject to color change and coarse cuticles when the wearer is pool-heavy in the summer. Coating your hair in conditioner before dipping your head in the pool helps keep chlorine damage out and moisture locked in.

• Be cautious of frequent washing this summer! If your hair is chemically treated with lightener, color, or texture products, it’s automatically more vulnerable to moisture loss and heat damage than virgin hair. Washing your hair less allows your natural oils to permeate your hair strand, providing extra softness and less tangling during everyday wear. Make sure to apply conditioner to the ends and mid-strands of your hair every time you wash! If you’re concerned about greasiness, dry shampoo is your best friend.

• Protecting your hair with leave-in conditioner, hair safe sunscreen, and moisture masks are especially important in the summer months. Weekly or biweekly treatments can make a world of difference to regularly colored or lightened hair that is frequently exposed to the sun. Happy holidays Atlas Beauties! 

We’re so thankful for all of our wonderful clients who have survived 2020 with us.  This Thanksgiving holiday we’ll be open Monday, November 23rd to Wednesday November 25th. We will be closed November 26th to November 30th. 

We are excited to get you ready for your December holiday plans, so we will be open Monday, December 21st to Wednesday December 23rd.  Jenna will be on vacation from December 24th to January 1st.  We recommend pre-booking your appointments during the holidays, as spots are filling up quick!  Donovan and Heather will be here December 29th to December 31st to take appointments, but will be closing early at 3pm on New Years Eve.
