What to expect:
Cancellation Policy
We ask that all clients reach out to us at least 48 hours in advance when cancelling or rescheduling an appointment. If an appointment is to be cancelled or rescheduled within 48 hours of the scheduled appointment time, there is an automatic charge of 75% of the service requested. If an appointment falls on a Tuesday or Wednesday, to avoid the 48 hour cancellation window, the appointment must be rescheduled by Saturday, as we are closed for business on Sunday and Monday. We do not accept text messages or voicemails as a form of cancellation on Sunday's and Monday's. The automatic 75% charge also applies to clients who do not show up for their appointments.
No-Call, No-Show Policy: If you fail to attend your appointment without canceling in advance ("no-call, no-show"), you will be charged 100% of the cost of the booked service.
For New Clients
To ensure efficient service and accommodate all our clients effectively, we have implemented a deposit policy for certain appointments. Effective immediately, a $50.00 deposit is required for the following services: Chemical Services This includes but is not limited to color services, perms, and keratin treatments. Booking Requirement Your appointment for these services will be confirmed upon receipt of the deposit. The deposit will be applied to the total cost of your service at the time of your appointment.
Refunds and Adjustments
Atlas Beauty LLC does not offer refunds for services or products. If an issue with your service at the salon arises, you must contact us within 7 days from your appointment date in order for your stylist to be able to provide an adjustment. You have up to 14 days from your appointment date to return to the salon for an adjustment to your service. Adjustments are a set 90 minute appointment, that will start at $40 to cover product cost. Any retail products may be exchanged within 14 days of their purchase date, with minimal use.
History of Hair
If your hair has been previously colored, lightened or chemically processed in any way (including henna), and you plan to have your hair chemically treated during your appointment, please inform your stylist or the salon manager when booking your appointment prior to coming in to the salon. This helps us protect the health of your hair as well as compensate for additional time or product that may be required when working with pre-treated hair.
Hair-Color Prep
We ask that all clients arrive to the salon with dry, brushed out hair, as we do not plan additional time for services to compensate for prior hair conditions that require preparation before the scheduled service. If you arrive and your stylist has to spend additional time prepping the hair, ie. excessive brushing or blowdrying, there will be an additional fee, subject to stylist discretion.
Plus One's
All clients bringing an additional guest to the salon that is not receiving a service are made aware that their plus one, including children, must remain in the designated waiting area during the service received by the booking client. Children 13 and under must be supervised at all times and may not be left alone at or in the salon under any circumstances.
Condition of hair upon arrival
When arriving for your appointment we ask that you perform the proper maintenance to your hair prior to your appointment.
For all chemical services we ask that you don’t wash your hair the day before or of your service, and that your hair be dry upon arrival.
For all extension services we ask that your hair is clean and dry upon arrival.
For all makeup services we ask for your face to be clean and moisturized.
For updo and formal hair styling services we ask you come in with your “best hair day”, if you are unsure what your best hair day is feel free to give us a call ahead of your scheduled appointment.
For all hair services we ask for your hair to be brushed and tangle free.
If you show up to your appointment without performing the required maintenance prior to your appointment you will be charged an extra fee depending on how long it take for us to prepare your hair for the service or be required to reschedule and pay the 75% reschedule/cancellation fee.
